Accommodation

The space at Cebu Blue Ocean is luxurious, forming part of the EGI Hotel Resort complex (Mactan Island). The school building is entirely new, offering a sea view. Therefore, students have comfortable access to the resort’s luxurious services and amenities, including three swimming pools, a rooftop mini-bar for sky and sea viewing, and many other facilities and services.

Security Assurance

Security at the school is strictly ensured by the vigilant security staff and 36 security cameras within the school and dormitory premises.

Nutritious Meals

Laundry and Cleaning Services

Evaluation of Results and Proficiency

At CBOA, students will participate in two assessments: an entry test to classify proficiency levels for determining suitable curriculum and a final test at the end of the course, held on the last Friday of the last week. Based on these assessments, parents can observe their children’s progress after 4 weeks of summer camp.

B. SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM IN CEBU BLUE OCEAN

The program is designed for students aged 10 to 17.

I. Academic Program

At Cebu Blue Ocean Academy, more than 50% of full-time teaching staff are selected teachers from the Pines English School, a reputable institution in Baguio City. All teachers here are carefully selected and trained through the TEPPEE program. Cebu Blue Ocean Academy has a quality assessment and monitoring system, with over 80% of teachers consistently scoring 98/100.

The summer English program in 2024 at CBOA will focus on improving listening, speaking, reading, writing skills, developing communication skills, and making students more confident in expressing themselves in English.

The summer camp consists of 20 instructional days over 4 weeks. Each day, students will participate in various classes:

• 3 one-on-one lessons: Enhancing reading comprehension, conversation, and applying English grammar.
• 3 small group lessons (1:4 ratio): Focusing on listening skills and group discussions.
• 1 large group lesson (12-20 students): Engaging in English language games, learning how to write, and giving English presentations (3 times per week).
• 2 self-study periods with teacher guidance: Vocabulary memorization techniques (words and sentences), Aloud Reading class, Zumba Dance class, and Guitar class.
