SUMMER ENGLISH COURSE – 2 TO 4 WEEKS IN THE PHILIPPINES
In recent years, the summer camp program in the Philippines has gained popularity among parents due to its focus on English language instruction, extensive learning time, diverse curriculum, and the simultaneous development of soft skills (independence, confidence, responsibility, etc.), cognitive development, and achievement surpassing the initial expectations of most parents.
Standard English Environment in the Philippines
With a history of nearly 100 years as an American colony, the Philippines bears a distinct cultural and linguistic influence, making English the most widely spoken language in the country. Additionally, the education system follows the American curriculum, so it’s no surprise that students are familiar with and use English from elementary school through university. According to the rankings of the Educational Test Service (ETS), the Philippines consistently ranks as the 5th largest English-speaking country in the world. Therefore, the English learning environment in the Philippines is one of the most favorable for students, helping them progress quickly and achieve desired results in a short period.
Child loves and feels confident using English.
Throughout the 4-6 weeks of summer camp, children immerse themselves in an entirely English-speaking environment with a minimum of 10 hours of learning each day. This includes 4 one-on-one classes (1 teacher to 1 student), 4 group classes (small groups of 1:4 and special group classes), 1 physical education class, and 1 self-study class with a guiding teacher. All other daily activities also require using English to communicate with friends, teachers, and management.
Independence Achieved in Just 4-6 Weeks
Participating in the summer camp, away from family, is a period during which children develop their independence the most. They learn how to take care of themselves independently and responsibly. This is also an opportunity for the child’s will and positive qualities to have the chance to develop.
Exploration and Integration into a Multicultural Environment
The Philippines summer camp attracts and gathers children from many countries such as South Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, Mongolia, Thailand, etc. Therefore, besides the daily English learning environment, children also have the opportunity to socialize, make friends, and explore various cultures from their peers and teachers in the Philippines. Children will confidently express themselves more in a multicultural environment, sharing their own country’s culture.
No Electronic Devices During the Summer Camp
In the Philippines summer study program, the majority of children’s time is devoted to learning and physical activities. Therefore, children are only allowed to use phones, iPads, and other electronic devices for a specified one-hour period. All gaming applications are required to be deleted. This helps children limit distractions during study and have more resting time each day.
Low Cost, High Effectiveness
The cost of summer study in the Philippines is entirely suitable for the financial capabilities of many Vietnamese families. With a comprehensive package cost of around 60 – 68 million VND for 4 weeks, children have a full month of study, fun, exploration, and international travel.
Implementing the Summer Study program in the Philippines for many years, Eduzone aims to bring a meaningful and beneficial program while rapidly developing English proficiency and providing comprehensive physical and life skills training in a scientific manner.
